RE: Towing with a Shortbed Pickup.

I have an '06 Dodge SB and pull a 32ft Wildcat. Works just fine. So far, only need the slider hitch in the driveway, but wouldn't want to be without it just in case.

RE: Towing without W/D bars

First off, if the guy is delivering a brand new trailer to a dealership, or customer, why would he use a WD hitch?? Unless a customer has ordered it and had it installed beforehand, do you think the dealers want holes in their brand new trailers?? These guys deliver new trailers and can't be putting holes in frames to mount WD items and sway bars.

RE: What will I find?

RE: Power Awning Pictures

After much discussion with a dealer about these A&E elctric awnings, A&E stands on the fact that their awnings are "sun shades", not rain awnings.

RE: From CT to Gardners, PA - *Newb Alert!

I'm local to I78, and it will definitley beat you and your trailer up. It is terrible from Hamburg to Rt 419. That has to be the worst stretch of road on the entire length. It made a good test trip for my 5th Airborne install though..........

RE: JT Strong Arms - WOW!!!!

Looks very good. I might even prefer yours with the locking handles at the bottom, rather than at the top like the JT's are, easier to get at. Mine are at the bottom, did you install them upside down?? Should look like this- http://www.jtrv.com/images/products/jack_stabilizer/product-enlarged/0027p2.jpg

RE: cable not working in new 5er

you guys all have good guesses, but that's not it......the Wildcats have 2 coax hookups that you need to run a jumper to. Ours has it in the shelf area under where the TV goes. The incoming line comes into 1 jack and then you need a jumper to the coax hookup above it to push the signal to the TV area. The one you need to jump is a wall plate with 2 coax ends on it. Of course, you may have the new entertainment system (non-Concertone) and that may be different.

RE: For those that have king pin stabilizer ???

Yeah, save your money and buy something like JT Strongarms...........the kingpin stabs don't do much.

RE: Carlisle tire woes...ARGH!

I think everyone gets it in their head that if they have a tire failure, it is automatically a defective tire......especially trailer tires. Flats from debris still do occur in the everyday world, and a trailer tire that is flat or going flat is not noticed like a vehicle tire is. It could have easily picked something up and blew apart from being towed at 70 mph while going flat. Replace it and move on...........

RE: OTTER LK CMGD AND FIREWOOD

We were at Otter Lake a few weeks ago and they had a pretty good sized load of wood you can buy from the CG at a reasonable price. Was about $20 I think for a big pile. Ask at the desk when checking in............
